we live in a country that loves quiet subtle things and keeps repeating ‘less is more’. less color, less details, less opinions, basically less fun. but what to do when your brain is hungry for moooore. more color, more (messy) self expression. or maybe simply more dopamine?
having these feelings in mind
@zm_ka_hook and
@uglyanduseless_ teamed up to create a mini collection DOPAMINE JUNKIE to satisty our hungry brain (and eyes).
creating things with no waste is super important to both of us, so right away we knew we had to use what we already have.
@zm_ka hook had a bunch of yarn leftovers, which needed to be used up and really found her peace crocheting colorful circles. the circles turned into beautiful masks.
@uglyanduseless_ is still not over teletubbies, so we naturally went full teletubby mode: a huge frankenhoodie with sooo many textures and a mask with an anthena, (obviously).
to finish the collection (and the yarn) we made some tops and wrap belt skirts. from tiniest pieces of yarn and fabric.
