Professor and artist DJ @suzianalog presents the second episode “Mapping Black Club Music Ecologies.” How is sound pollinated? Who shares it, why, and where? Suzi digs into not only the sonic origins but also the physical and geopolitical impacts of Black electronic music, inviting us to see club music as an ecology — a space where house legends confronted mortality while fighting to stay alive.
We go live on November 7 at 6 PM ET. Join us either in person at the HipHop Archive or streaming on our YouTube channel @ABlackEDM

Season 2 is finally here!
@madisonmooreonline kicks things off with a deep dive into “A Critical Cabaret: A Hybrid Performance Lecture”. Inspired by Fred Moten’s assertion, “Party over here, party over here... The party is constantly showing us that there’s a riot going,” moore joins a live DJ set with performance studies and history of sexuality to enact a “critical cabaret” where participants can sonically experience and intellectually ponder the genre’s history.
Catch us live on October 29 at 4 PM, either in person at the HipHop Archive or streaming on our YouTube channel @ABlackEDM .
