Thank you.
This project was inspired by texts by @jordan.tannahill and @thejesucia . Special thanks to @tia3kaye@jenniferjoanthomp , Stan and Blake. I could not have asked for a weirder, more spirited, more dedicated more GENIUS group of people to help me pull this off. I hope this show gave you an experience of the theatre that you hadn’t had before, or challenged you as an audience member, or maybe just made you feel or change or whatever. In the end, Love wins, so, think about that and what you wanna do with the rest of your life!
The PERFECT degree for the times
Proud to have my BFA in Theatre Studies from Meadows School of the Arts at SMU.
Thank you to everyone that made it possible. I love you, may you always be safe and respected.
Dear SMUST,
Thank you for the past 4 years of creativity, challenge, joy and above all else- community. Thank you for the process and the risk and the love and the support and the tears and the turmoil. You are the reason I am the artist I am today, and every theatre in America needs a bit of what you have. Please stay messy and audacious and silly and humble, I love you. Thank you for making me a producer, for making me a director, letting me act, teaching me boundaries, and how I can be better as a leader. Thank you for showing me how it feels to be proud of my work, and for allowing me to fail safely when I think I’ve missed the mark. Thank you to everyone who has shared their work, and who volunteered endless hours of their time for basement theatre. Thank you to the faculty at SMU as well as Margaux, Larsen, Addie, Sadie, Dylan, Brady, Braden, Eli, Madison, and Andrew for the countless hours of mental, emotional and physical work that goes unseen. Have so much fun @smustagram_
