3月6日より4日間、札幌の空き地（別室）にて個展「と或る」を開催します。
昨年より支持体を紙ではなくパネルに変更し油絵を描き始めました。ホワイトキューブ的空間でその絵がどう在り得るのかを見に来ていただけると幸いです。

見ることによって、事物と微かにずれていく印象。
ここに示される絵画は、何かを表象しているのではない。
それらは、意味が立ち上がろうとするその直前で、ひとつの行為が通過した痕跡としてそこに在る。
現象の存在を証明するための像ではない。
むしろ、失われたものが完全には消えきらずにいることの、幽かな持続として立ち現れる。
把握されることを拒みながら、確かに或るもの。
それは、見ることのうちにだけ、わずかに触れられる。
An impression that, through the act of seeing, drifts ever so slightly out of alignment with things.
The paintings presented here do not represent something.
They exist, rather, as traces of an action that has passed through, at the very moment before meaning begins to arise.
Not images that seek to prove the existence of phenomena,
but the faint persistence of what has not entirely disappeared.
Resisting grasp, yet undeniably present.
They can be touched only slightly, and only within the act of seeing.
