Its such an enchanting place with a rich and tragic history of once being a unique body of water completely landlocked in the desert. Once a highly saught after resort town now lies in ruin due to rising salt levels due to a myriad of factors. Most of which being agricultural runoff, but the blame lies in a lack of congressional interest. A distinct feature to this place is the indescribable smell of exposed sea bed and the massive graveyard of fish corpses. Its a beautiful community worth saving! Save Our Seas!

Hello everyone, I’ve been holding off on posting this due to everything that’s been happening, but I decided that ultimately there is not going to be a “good time” to do so in the foreseeable future. The main @thewhorrorshowlive set for MONSTERF**KERS on 2/12/26 at @golddiggersla didn’t just bring monsters to life — it tore the veil open and let them crawl through. Hosted by @novanecrophiliac , this cast of horrors didn’t perform… they infected the room: @abhora_rules (@bouletbrothersdragula S2 & Titans 1 & 2), @specimenscythe , @jack.king.goff , @marci.morningstar , @xena.sin , and @purustaliban with our Whorror Band @babebladebass , @astrudaurelia , and @rachel.m00n . Fangs bared. Limbs contorted. Bodies mutating under stage lights like something gone terribly, beautifully wrong. Bats swarmed overhead, flower creatures bloomed and rotted in the same breath, cryptids skulked between shadows, freakazoids twitched and writhed, and the devil himself stalked the floor like he owned every soul in the room. The air was thick. Sweaty. Possessed. Every number felt like a ritual. Every beat like a pulse from something alive beneath the floorboards. This wasn’t just a comeback after a 3 month hiatus — this was a resurrection gone feral. A reawakening that came back teeth-first, hungry, and absolutely unhinged.
