Feel so overwhelmed and grateful for all the love pouring in during the last few days. And to think of it, we almost didn’t make this one. For many days we contemplated several ideas and nothing fell into place. Till four days before the deadline, @bharatmisr sent me a voice note with the idea at 2 am. And then, a screenplay the next day. We built on that with inputs from @ggodwinn , @pallavi.kedia and @morbidtuary . And then, the plan was to shoot it all in one day. But the Sun played peek-a-boo and we only got about half an hour to shoot. The rest of it got pushed to another day, but everyone was chill. I was panicking inside but all around me, the vibes were right.
And that’s how all of this was a breeze. Because at every step, the vibes were right. Our maverick sound designer @raaghav.dhingra18 literally finished the entire design in merely a few hours.
We had been mulling over the idea of making a micro short film for the longest time; but @shortedindia ‘s challenge proved to be the final push we needed.
This frame was my favourite from the shoot. We didn’t plan for it. It just happened in the moment. Everyone worked towards a singular goal and we got the shot just as the sun was setting…. Sometimes its the happy accidents that really make the film- the ones you can’t control, are the ones that are truly magical….
