Thank you to all my family & friends who have allowed me the confidence to make mistakes & continue learning.
This is a culmination of me up until now. I really tried to find the root of my initial love for music when I made this & unlock the unconscious freedom of when i first picked up the sticks as a child. In some ways this music came quickly because it feels entirely, authentically me. Find a speaker system or some trusty headphones & set aside 22 minutes for a deep listen 👂🏽

Thinking of everyone’s contribution to this record (30 people plus) and the collaborative spirit that makes this journey special. In particular, Alison Riley, Chris Bruce, Jebin Bruni, Justin Hicks, Josh Johnson, Deantoni Parks, Todd Dahlhoff, Chris Bittner, Hector Castillo and Don Was. What a learning experience it has been for me since moving to the USA and joining her orbit when I was 21 years old, 11 years ago! Thinking of all my family back home in Sydney & the music community that watered the roots.

Three years ago I made one song with @evannmcintosh That one song somehow turned into an entire album.
Today Fantasy Fuel is out!
Around that time I was still finding my confidence as a producer. Evann trusted me to help bring these songs to life and I’m incredibly grateful for that.
Evann is a wildly gifted artist originally from Wichita, Kansas. Charismatic, thoughtful and deeply engaged in art. At only 21 years old, I’m really excited to see where their journey goes. I’ve learnt so much.
We made this record in my little Silver Lake studio and I got to bring in some of my closest friends and collaborators along the way.
I’ve been pulling back from social media a bit lately, trying to stay PRESENT, focused on making music and engaging with life.
With everything going on in the world, posting about music can sometimes feel strange.
But at least we still have the music. If it moves you give it a listen and a share!
