A journey through North Africa. 🌍 You got a small taste of the recordings I collected across cities in Morocco. We touched on North African pop – the Algerian-born raï – alongside Maghrebi sounds, spiritual (or if you like, religious) music, the tribal-rooted gnawa 🪕 and we also drifted towards Egypt with a special kind of shaabi accompanied by tenor sax.🎷The rest will stay a surprise.

Kis ízelítőt kaphattatok a Marokkó városaiban gyűjtött hanghordozóimból.Volt Észak-Afrika popzenéje, vagyis az algíri eredetű raï, maghrebi köntösben, spirituális (ha úgy tetszik vallási) zene, a törzsi gyökerű gnawa, de elkanyarodtunk Egyiptom felé is: különleges shaabi, tenor szaxofonnal kísérve. A többi maradjon meglepetés.
