Star trail timelapse! I started this around 10pm and let it go until 1:30am (when it got too cold). Definitely excited to get back to @greatsanddunesnps with more preparation next time.

First Timelapse out west! Definitely got humbled by the Great Sand Dunes. This was supposed to be one shot, taken from high in the dunes (the first shot), but it got way too cold up there for me and Hux. We hiked back down to the parking lot where I set up the camera for the second shot, fell asleep for a few hours, and got woken up to a park ranger and a $130 ticket for sleeping in my car in a parking lot. Lesson learned!

Couldn’t resist a 3.5 hour drive to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Lots of night photography to share soon.

Hux absolutely throwing the hammer down this morning on a trail behind our apartment building. We could get very used to this.

So many memories made here in the past 9 years! Too many to rattle off in an Instagram caption, but I’ll always have some yinzer in me. Me and Hux are off to Golden, CO next week and I’m so excited to continue building my video production business in Denver.
Till next time Pittsburgh 🖤💛
I don’t have a title for this photo or anything, but it’s a composite shot at Bucktail Overlook, PA last summer during the Perseids. You can also see green trails across the foreground, which are lightning bugs.
I’m doing some prints of this photo, and it looks pretty damn good on metal prints (swipe to see). Let me know if you’re interested in hanging this in your home.
