100TH
100 posts on the street page! I don't know if I should feel excited or just calm about it. For many years, people have told me to create another page on Instagram to share non-macro works of mine, and I've always said no. Most times, NO with nothing attached because no is no. Other times, "It's not easy managing two pages" or something similar.
Looking back at it, if there was ever a good time to have multiple pages, it'd have been way back when I was still filled with energy (Haha! Crazy words from a young boy), IG was great, and I was still looking for opportunities (I still am!).
Well, "good time," but this happened at the best time. Why? I'm better at management, I'm more flexible, I'm the me-est me I've ever been—unafraid to show the good/bad.
There's always this question of "what next?" But what do you expect? We've only just started (100 posts, 100 followers—actually, a hundred and four!), so we'll keep going, and time will do what it does best.
To make a fine pinned post, I'm sharing my favourite 10 street photographs.
(I'd like to talk about them, but the thought of how I'd have to sit and write long letters about 10 photos scares me right now. I'll just take it easy, so let's see.)
Most importantly, I wouldn't be able to do this without your support. Thank you for deciding to follow my street page—especially those who knew me for my macro works. You guys are the reason why I've kept on doing this. Also, shout-out to the brand that helps me achieve all my photographic goals,
@omsystem.cameras . I had under 50 followers when they followed my street page, and I don't take that for granted. Shout-out to
@olympuspassion too; they really made me believe I'm doing something cool by featuring me in the monthly magazine (that's my biggest feat as a street photographer, to be honest).
Who's gonna be here at 1,000 posts? Let me know in the comment section. Also, which slide is your favourite?
Added an 11th slide which I can't tell if it's more street or wide-angle macro, of a mixture of both. I mean, I'm doing both at the moment 😂.
All captured with
@omsystem.cameras OM-1 and M.Zuiko 60mm macro. Slide 11 with
@yongnuo_photography 12 - 35mm lens.
