The film that inspired me to join my own grandma on one of her senior bus trips is now on NPOstart✨
Working on a film about a girl who just lost her father to cancer (and takes a trip with her grandma) while my own mom just got diagnosed with metastases in her brain wasn’t always easy. However, director @roxannelottestam and the team were so warm and loving and it turned out to be an amazing journey both professionally and personally. I enjoyed the moments of reflection on the patio overlooking the ocean and although the job of an assistant director can sometimes be a bit of a lonely one, special thanks to cam-team Eli & Rick for helping me, teaching me and making me laugh.
I look back on this project fondly.
