when i learned that the tower and other iconic areas at abs-cbn were set for demolition, i asked mom
@abbybaduj if we could visit to take some photos. thanks to my beloved ninong
@alan_m_real and ate
@adlvsy_ , we got to tour the places that once felt so familiar. also, special shoutout to ate
@fuhreyuh , kuya
@nik.gonzales , and of course, my ninang
@gidgetdc for making the tour extra fun!
abs-cbn, star magic especially, has always been my second home. as a kid, when no one could look after me, mom would bring me with her to work, and those “bring your kid to work” days were my favorite ‘cause i knew they’d always be fun. it’s bittersweet to see things change, but walking through those halls again reminded me that home was never just the walls of abs-cbn. home is the people who remain such a big part of my life. the faces in these photos may be incomplete, but the love and memories will always be whole.
as i always hear growing up… once a kapamilya, always a kapamilya. here, there, and everywhere! 🫶🏼
