This time last year I had just handed in my final submission, panicking about whether I was going to have a job or not and if the years of studying were going to have been worth it.
Then, within a couple of months this opportunity rolled up and I couldn’t believe it. The strikes then put the production at a halt and I felt like I was at a standstill again.
Thankfully, things were resolved, the production was back up and running and I joined the crowd room at the beginning of February.
Such a pinch me moment finding out I was going to be a part of this production, I will be eternally grateful. Thank you so much @m_robyn_w

Now that Malpractice S2 is out on @itv@itvxofficial i wanted to share this burn makeup I did on one of our background characters for episode 2.
I used images of boiling water burn as references for this.
Unfortunately she wasn’t seen in the final cut so I wanted to give her her moment here😙
I achieved this look using @kryolanofficial #kryolan Liquid Latex and @skinillustratorofficial SFX alcohol palette
I added some fake pus and more redness in situ once we saw how it looked on the monitor
So much fun on this job and was really nice to get to do some sfx!!

This first photo was the my first time setting up to work on cast and I was silently bricking it😅only for it to turn out to be extremely fun and lifted me straight out of my comfort zone

This was just achieved using shadows and highlights with cream and powder based products.
This was during my final year practicing old age techniques for one of my assignments, even though I ended up using the stretch and stipple method with latex. Oh well🤷♀️
