I got another public library card today š, so I wanted to share some of my recent reads. Iāve visited 8 libraries in London so far, and Iām excited to keep exploring more :) Itās honestly so nice reading for pleasure again because when youāre in uni, those research articles ARE your books lol.
āØļøI revisited Vogueās Dandyism issue inspired by last yearās Met Gala (thank you to my friend for snagging this before coming to visit me š«¶š¾).
āØļøI reread Reel by @kennedyryan1 . With Score coming out in T-minus 7 days (š), I needed to prepare.
āØļøPlus Size Player by @authordanielleallen . I read Curvy Girl Summer last year, and I think the third book in the Curve series dropped in April, so now I need to track that down too!
Honorable mention: I just reserved "Legendborn" by Tracy Deonn today!
Let me know if youāve read any of these and tell me what youāre currently reading šš¾
This London weather is playing with my emotions lol, so letās style a blazer.
Blazers are one of the most worn pieces in my wardrobe because theyāre so versatile. I love the structure they give and you already know Iām here for a strong shoulder pad. The more linebacker energy, the better š
One of my favourite things is accessorising them and making each look feel a little different every time. āØ
āØļøHeirloomsāØļø...legacy expressed through style. Pieces that go beyond fashion, carrying history, emotion, and memory in every detail.
Even as the seasons shift and the cool air fades, last nightās Met Gala theme, āCostume Art,ā had me thinking about wearable art in my own life. My grandmotherās brooch and earrings, paired with my momās balaclava...pieces that deserved their moment.
Thereās something about wearing what they once wore. A quiet confidence settles in, like their strength still lives within these objects, moving with me, guiding me.
Do you have a wearable or costume art piece that holds that kind of story?
I really appreciated the dichotomy of London Fashion Week for me this year, experiencing it both as an observer and from behind the scenes.
Finding an opportunity to be behind the scenes, assisting and witnessing everything come together, from hair and makeup to dressing, seating, and all the details in between. Being part of that process, even in a small way, gave me an even greater appreciation for the craft and the artistry of all elements coming together in a fashion show.
Thereās something powerful about watching someoneās vision come to life, their āwhyā unfolding in real time.
Along the way, I also met so many wonderful people, which made the experience even more meaningful.

Thereās a quiet sense of renewal settling over me this month; one Iām choosing to fully welcome and embrace, as I step into this second quarter with open hands and an open heart, ready to receive all the good thatās meant for me.
If youād like to see some of what unfolded in the first quarter, my vlog is in my bio, featuring this outfit in motion as well š¤
Wishing you a fresh, beautiful start to the week š«¶šæ
Time has a way of moving faster than we expect,
so fast that itās hard to believe the first quarter of the year is already behind us.
Thatās why I lean into the beauty of digital storytelling: to capture and preserve those fleeting, meaningful moments. Because even when the moment passes, a photo or video can bring you right back, if only for a second, to how it felt to be there.
My February vlog is exactly that: a collection of memories woven together, moments from London Fashion Week, birthday celebrations, private screenings, and more.
Tap the link in my bio and step into a glimpse of February, beautifully captured. š«¶šæ
Itās been 90 days since I found the perfect match for my Mags (my hair) with @trueandpuretexture Jasmine Coil š¤ And Iām still so impressed! Truly a match made in heaven.

While I was taking pictures, a kind gentleman stopped to talk. A compliment turned into a story from his life. Iāve come to appreciate these small, unexpected encounters with strangers. Sometimes they stay with you. Take a listen. āØļø
Here are a few things I've ABsolutely adored lately.āØļø
P.S. The "absolutely adore" reference is from one of my favorite '90s movies, It Takes Two. Do you remember?!
