I wanted to start off this photo series by giving context to these first pictures.
I was admitted into the academy with four others from the United States. Complete strangers; well most of them at least (I ironically had met Brando in another orientation). I would go on to form relationships that aren’t with all of them that aren’t very common in such a short time period.
These head shots were taken on the day of our orientations in the Brunello Cucinelli (New York) headquarters, in front of a picture of the Solomeo, Italy; where we would spend the next three weeks and one day together. I asked my new colleagues if I can take a small headshot of them for a project, they agreed with suspicion of course, but agreed nonetheless which was enough for me.
My relationship with these four strangers would flourish into friendships and experiences that I can’t forget, some may have ended in Solomeo; others gained an extension.
Maybe i’m being dramatic, maybe we’ll meet again one day..
