Japanese brutalism found in the city of Niihama. Due to the high potential of heavy earthquakes a lot of the buildings are made out of concrete, as it is more stable than brick and not as expensive as wood.They cover the raw concrete with ceramic tiles because the high humidity would erode the concrete rather quickly. You can find these buildings in almost every part of Japan.The house on the last slide is right next to the building on the first three slides. Completely different style but also very unique.Shot on 35mm with my beloved Nikon. ️
