How do you even paint with glass?
@jojodpate loved this ring for years, so much that he asked me to craft one. Made from fine silver and glass, the process involves multiple layers and 10 kiln firings at 1500 degrees.
Making jewelry like this requires dedication at every step, but the end result makes it all worth it. Thanks @jojodpate for loving this design enough to commission one, can’t wait to see it on your hand!

every custom piece deserves a custom home. 🔥 I’ve made it. Point to try and make my own boxes. Why? I find the craft of making boxes the perfect pairing for the work I make. I want my jewelry to have a home that means just as much as the piece. I taught myself bookbinding techniques over the past 5 years just to make sure that happens :)

Friday at the SNAG x Detroit Conference features a full day of demonstrations, lectures, and conversations across three sessions:

Each session includes concurrent programs, so you can build your day around what draws you in. All sessions will be recorded and available to attendees after the conference.

What are you up to this summer?!
I'm beyond excited to share that I'll be back at @penlandschool , teaching an enameling workshop! My first experience at Penland in 2022 was life-changing, and I had the most incredible group of students who dove head-first into enameling. We'll be covering the basics and some advanced techniques, like working with tiny pieces and creating 3D enameled forms. Plus, we'll collaborate on a class piece that I'll always treasure!
