āI didnāt know how empty was my soulā¦until it was filled.ā I could not have asked for a better birthday present than to FINALLY experience the glory of #Excalibur in its original 1.66:1 aspect ratio thanks to the amazing folks at @arrowvideo . Every composition was cropped and ruined on previous DVDs and Blu Rays, so seeing the TRUE vision of this epic dreamscape was one of the most overwhelming cinematic expressions Iāve ever seen (and felt). A work so devastatingly powerful that I feel born anew each and every time I see it, none more so than now. #JohnBoorman touched infinity with this one.
