Great vibe at The Spot Festival. One of my favourite events on the @randwickcouncil calendar. If you’re nearby, come down and soak it up.

Feeling blessed to celebrate Chanukah with my family tonight.
Sending love and gratitude to everyone who’s reached out to us and to all those choosing acts of peace and kindness during these difficult times.
Light will always overcome darkness. That’s what we hold onto. That’s what Chanukah teaches us. Chag Sameach. ❤️🕎
This week, @randwickcouncil voted to join the @committeeforsydney for Sydney.
Local government plays a crucial role in shaping vibrant, liveable, and sustainable cities.
Membership of the Committee for Sydney ensures Randwick will be actively engaged in the thought leadership and strategic conversations that matter - working alongside other councils, businesses, universities, and civil society organisations to address the critical challenges and opportunities facing Greater Sydney.

Help save your favourite trees! 🌳
I love trees, and as Randwick and greater Sydney grows/densifies it’s more important than ever to protect our urban forest into the future.
Right now, @randwickcouncil is updating its Significant Tree Register, a vital tool to recognise the most valuable trees within our community.
The current register doesn’t include many of the trees the community value including these grand 80+ year old figs Quail St and Arden St in Coogee.
It’s important that all the trees we love are registered (the more the better) so please log in to Randwick Council and Have Your Say as we update our Significant Tree Register

An inspiring morning at the Randwick Eco Living Festival.
Amazing weather for celebrating 20 years of eco-living in our community!
Both @randwickcouncil and so many people are committed and engaged in a range of activities working toward an ecologically sustainable future together. 💚🌱
Eliud Kipchoge up close among the leading pack in the Sydney Marathon this morning.
Great that along with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, Randwick was a big part of the Sydney Marathon including Anzac Parade and Centennial Park. Congratulations to every runner! 🏃♂️🏃♀️💪🏼🏅

Excited that Randwick City Councillors supported my motion to investigate lower speed limits! 🙌
40km/h on residential streets and 30km/h in high pedestrian areas
The evidence is clear: slower speeds save lives with minimal travel delays
We’ll be consulting with schools, residents, Transport for NSW and police to make this happen.
Huge thanks to Safe Streets to Schools Randwick and Better Streets for their inspiring advocacy and research. They highlighted the urgent need for safer streets and change!
Today, members and friends celebrated the 12th birthday of the Waverley Community Men's Shed.
