@freeagencynewyork is a store in New York I have heard a lot about and had to check out
I have tagged some of my favourite brands that they stock on this video so go and support them
Also shout out @tejjjjada for putting me onto the 70s afrobeat music too
Things That Are The Vibes pt.4
‘Chic’ used to describe something specific.
Now it gets applied to everything, which kind of strips it of meaning.
So rather than forcing the word, I’m calling it ‘the vibes’, it captures the same feeling, just without the pretence.
What’s a film that changed your life?
For me it has to be Into The Wild (2007)
I actually watched this on my flight back to New York from London and I was fighting tears when the credits rolled. I genuinely think this is one of the most tragically beautiful coming of age stories put to screen. It’s full of philosophical quotable that never feels cheesy because the movie is so raw and authentic.
Christopher represents a lot of people entering their adulthood, his struggles are our struggles. Definitely give this a watch. This is my favourite movie ever and I’ve had the same favourite movie for over a decade
I think I accidentally uncovered a lost piece of Japan in London
Hidden in the streets of Fitzrovia you will find @clutchcafelondon a Japanese heritage store that transports you to the streets of Osaka or Tokyo.
They stock famous Japanese brands like @fullcount_official@info.coherence@whitesville.jp but their attention to detail when it comes to the layout and the vintage reproductions they stock make this feel like a vintage shopping experience in Japan
