This past year held some of our highest highs and deepest lows. And through it all—good or bad—we’ve been reminded just how grateful we are that we found one another. In the hardest moments, we see how deeply aligned our values are and how much unwavering support we truly have. In the joyful moments, we’re reminded that this is exactly the person we want to experience life with.
With every challenge, we became more connected than ever. With every high, we fell in love all over again. Three years ago we said “I do,” nine months later we celebrated with our people, and I’d marry you again and again if I could.
This year feels extra special as we celebrate not just us, but our growing family of four 🤍✨

38 WEEKS ✨
As we approach the very end of this pregnancy, I’ve found myself reflecting on just how much this journey has asked of us. The fear, the waiting, the surrender, the hope layered on top of uncertainty — all of it has shaped this season in ways I never could have imagined.
As of now, the placenta has not moved. Unless something changes, we will be welcoming our baby on January 5th. I will be 38 weeks and 6 days — nearly 39 weeks. Posting this publicly still feels heavy. We are heartbroken that the outcome we wished for didn’t unfold the way we hoped.
And yet… alongside that grief is so much gratitude.
Most cases of complete placenta previa with significant bleeding result in emergency C-sections much earlier. The fact that we’ve been able to safely carry this baby to almost 39 weeks, with no bleeding for the past 10 weeks, feels nothing short of miraculous. We were given the gift of time — time to let this baby grow, time to be together as a family, time to soak in the holidays knowing our baby was still safely tucked inside.
We are so deeply excited to finally meet our baby, bring them home, and begin this next chapter as a family of four. This journey hasn’t been what we envisioned — but it has been full of grace, protection, and love.

He is strong, brave and adventurous. He is always making us laugh and keeping us on our toes. We love our little guy endlessly and couldn’t imagine this life without him.

It’s hard to believe that this is the 11th time taking these photos and next time we do, he will be a whole year old!
