A custom designed brooch for my husband for our wedding day.
The inspiration draws from the iconic Sidi Sayed Jali, a symbol of the city we call home, intertwined with the philosophy of the Tree of Life. Together, the motif represents the journey we are about to begin, ever growing, ever evolving, and deeply rooted in love and companionship.
At the base of the brooch rests an inverted lotus, symbolising strength, resilience, and grounding, a reminder that even as life expands in new directions, it is our roots that keep us steady.
