Aarde aan Daan is the project of Dutch-Belgian artist Daan Hafkamp. Love brought Daan from Amsterdam to Antwerp. When that love ended, Daan stayed in Antwerp — and the songs followed. In Antwerp, the music of Aarde aan Daan flourished through band members from Ghent. During SHOWCASE#MUSIC, Daan performs the songs solo with electronics, synths, and guitar.
Aarde aan Daan delivers a fresh Dutch-language sound that is embraced with open arms both in Belgium and the Netherlands. Several singles made it into the daytime playlist of VRT Radio 1, and there was also airplay on 3FM. With performances at venues such as Lotto Arena, Trix, Paradiso, Rotown, Tivoli, and support slots for renowned acts like Froukje, Wies, Tourist LeMC, Yong Yello, and Brihang, Aarde aan Daan promises to enter a colorful new era with fresh music and a growing presence across the Low Countries.
