Our Barn Buddies are feral or semi-feral cats who won’t thrive in an indoor home. While they may not be couch companions, they’re just as deserving of love and care! 😻

All barn cats are in good health, have had a veterinary exam, are spayed/neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. Barn Buddy adoptions are by donation, though we suggest a nominal fee of $25. 🐱

At around two years old and sixty pounds, she is the only candy we’d get in an unmarked van for. 😅
This clever girl would do best as the only dog in the home, and with kids 16+ since she can get a little mouthy when excited.
Candie is smart, food motivated, and eager to learn. She’s looking for a home that can give her lots of exercise, enrichment, and continued training to help her thrive. 💪

The May Long Weekend always feels like the unofficial start of summer... even if Mother Nature hasn’t fully committed yet. ☀️🌦️ As you head outside with your pets this weekend, here are a few warm weather reminders to keep them safe and happy:
🐾 Keep cool
Never leave pets in a parked car, avoid walks on hot pavement, and always make sure they have access to shade and fresh water.
🌷 Watch out for toxic plants
Some common spring plants can be dangerous for pets, including lilies, tulips, daffodils, azaleas, and foxtails.
🕷️ Check for ticks
Tick season is here! After outdoor adventures, give your pets a thorough once-over to make sure no unwanted hitchhikers came home with them.
