This is the beginning of the end? Personally, I will advise our Nollywood star not to put up any fight or defence, except he is tired of politics and ready to pack up in business. Moving forward, Hon. Desmond Elliott should accept his mistakes and apologize. He can never win this battle, he should not try anything funny at all, he can still get appointed as a Commissioner or even a Federal appointment. This is very possible, from here he can start all over again and prove his loyalty. He should not forget the former Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. How he was treated and his political career dead and buried. If there's one sin that is unforgiving in Lagos politics, it is disloyalty, it is a taboo, an abomination. It is better not to attempt it, especially when Jagaban is involved. You don't bite the fingers that feed you and expect the same fingers pally you or to rub your head. A new anointed APC candidate has emerged and that's a sign that the leaders of the Surulere chapter of the All Progressive Congress APC are done with you. To think this person is a lady is another reason Aso Rock is no longer interested in Desmond Elliott's style of leadership.

The same street that bullied him into silence on his darkest days (Gay Scandal & Relationship Issue) is now celebrating him in death. The same people who mocked him, labeled him, called him all sorts of dirty names are now mourning him. The social media that tore him down is now hailing him and describing him a good guy. His ex-girlfriend joined the world in their quest to pull him down. Today, it's all applause - praising the man they once dragged publicly. How does it feel to post glowing tributes to someone you once hurt? How does your conscience let you? Knowing full well you never meant well for a man who gave his all to our nation via the entertainment industry? His only crime was being an actor. Beyond that, what right did anyone have to meddle in his private life? You failed him when he needed you most. That’s why he married in secret. That’s why he stayed quiet. Today it’s Alex Ekubo. Tomorrow, it could be someone else. And the cycle will repeat — until we finally learn to treat people with the respect they deserve while they’re still here. Fly safe Ikuku The Breeze

I wish I knew better, I would have ventured into activism while growing up. Activists are living their best life in Turkey. According to VeryDarkBlackMan's brother, they left Nigeria to charge their phones in Istanbul Turkey, since there was no light in Nigeria. Activism is paying some serious money. I want to be an activist. I need a camera, ring light and an active social media pages. Who suffer help? Chai

The Federal Government has prohibited recipients of honorary degrees from using the title “Dr” before their names in official, academic, or professional settings, in a move aimed at preserving the integrity of academic qualifications. The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, announced the decision at the Presidential Villa in Abuja while briefing State House correspondents. He explained that the directive followed approval by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) of a new, uniform policy governing the award and use of honorary degrees across Nigerian universities.
