The argument that being queer is an ‘urban elitist movement’ was proved completely moot at the Dharamshala Queer Pride Parade!
That day that was full of joy, love, acceptance and happiness! I will always remember the people I met at this parade. The way we claimed the streets of Mcloed and Dharamshala will be a story I’ll keep narrating again and again. The fact that so many tourists joined us and were visibly happy that this was happening will bring a smile to my face everytime I think about it.
It was my first trip to Dharamshala, and their first queer pride parade, it almost felt like I was meant to be there, because it was also my first pride parade!
To feel so accepted, seen and loved by a group of strangers without ever having to say a word! Ufffff, I feel so grateful to have been a part of this history!

I went to Kashmir on a whim to meet Anam. And my god what a decision it a was. We worked together, cried together, got angry together, fought, made up, travelled to other places and still the trip was tooooooooo short.
Thank you Anam, for making me a part of your Kashmir family, I hold them as close to my heart as they do! This saaz-e-dosti will go on for years to come Inshallah!
Coming really really soon to throw tantrums, eat Sozy’s home cooked food, Massu’s innocence, @vieenrosedesignerstore generosity, @aliyah_hussain96 ’s takal stories, go to the thrift market with @ratherhashim_ and lastly to bask in your light ♥️
P.S this time Pahalgam 🤣🤣
Been a very very eventful three days in Srinagar. Many more yet to come….
Khuda ka tohfa toh hai Kashmir!!! ♥️
I’ll never get over the flowers I see here, the pherans that I’m just obsessed with & have chewed Anam’s brain about, the mountains in Srinagar (which CRPF has fully occupied and the beautiful people who’ll go above & beyond to make you feel at home.
Also learnt a few Kashmiri phrases and my oh my what a beautiful language it is.

PS @izbandh I WANT ALL YOUR ATTENTION FROM NOW.
Handstand spotting isn’t about holding someone up. It’s about helping their body feel safe enough to balance🪷
Most spotting mistakes come from rushing, over-gripping, or trying to “fix” the pose instead of reading the person in front of you. Everybody responds differently. Good spotting adapts, listens, and supports without taking over✨
When you understand your partner’s center of gravity, breath, and level of confidence, handstand stops feeling chaotic and starts feeling controlled, calm, and learnable🍃
The key is to slow down, stay connected and letting strength and awareness work together🤍
⚠️ Please practice mindfully and with caution to avoid injury.
