I know the world's on fire. But as we resist, we must also celebrate. Grateful to have "Pharaoh's Dream" accepted into the CAVA Members' Exhibit 2026.

Patriarchy's Daughter, 12x26x6 in, acrylic, wood, cloth, paper, dried flowers, plastic sheeting, on stretched canvas. Reworked "Patriarchy's Child" from previous post. I am deeply committed to the overthrow of the system of patriarchy which is all about oppression and abuse. This piece speaks to the violation of children at the hands of such an ideology.

American Golem, (right side), 6x42x4 in, wood, lead, bone, axe head, handmade paper, wire, thorns, rose petals, cord, acrylic paint text on sides of lid: I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.
