Artist JEFF CHANDLER ✨Demonstrates for youth tapping with his fingers to create ethereal, resonant sounds, often used for meditation. This instrument is Made from two steel hemispheres & unique sound comes from the vibrations of the shaped dimples when struck, producing complex, harmonic tones originated in 2000.
✨ The Handpan design and sound are deeply inspired by the Caribbean steelpan (steel drum), which originates from Trinidad and Tobago and is a cornerstone of African Diasporic musical tradition.
