As part of our previous event ‘NOT-YET re:turn’ at @stonenest_ldn , we were very lucky to have dancers from @rambertschool participate in a Site-Specific Improvisation Workshop exploring movement with our set structure with a mindset of presentness and embodiment. Led by our collaborator @annettebrandanger , we are excited to continue working with Annette for our next event (in collaboration with @faerderbiennalen ) in Norway! @aais_interprofessionals @aaschool

AAIS 25-26 are excited to invite you to Stone Nest on March 20th for our first public performance - re:turn! As the first installation of our larger festival series, NOT-YET, re:turn is a testing ground for choreographed and musical performances in active conversation with their spatial environment. Operating under an improvisational structure with negotiated dependencies, the work distributes agency across bodies, spatial objects, and the immaterial, letting interactions shape the experience. The work presented at Stone Nest will be developed and brought to Færderbiennalen @faerderbiennalen , a Dance and Architecture Festival, in Norway in June 2026.   ‘re:turn’ (March 20th @stonenest_ldn ) 6pm Doors Open 6:30-7:30pm Main Performance 7:30-8pm Q&A Stone Nest 136 Shaftesbury Avenue London W1D 5EZ Tickets are available now at /events/re-turn , or in the link in our bio. We’re thrilled to introduce Stone Nest as our venue for our London event on 20th March 2026! Stone Nest is an arts organisation and performance venue in the heart of London’s West End, bringing exceptional and experimental art to a wide audience. This Grade II listed former Presbyterian church was built in 1888 by James Cubitt, composed of a galleried central space with an umbrella dome, large basement, and attached manse, where it served as the heart of the London Welsh community for 94 years. It was later transformed into one of London’s most hedonistic nightclubs, the Limelight, in 1985. In 2003, the building became a Walkabout pub and following its closure in 2010, was subsequently squatted. Stone Nest took over the long-neglected building in 2012, with the aim of creating a flexible, sustainable performance space. A hidden gem nestled amidst the bright lights of theatreland, it offers a platform for bold, visionary artists and a space where audiences can encounter an eclectic programme of contemporary performance.
