The Hampi Tables were born from a close study of the stone columns of the Hazara Rama temple in Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Karnataka. Each one made with lathe and CNC, finished in a high-gloss PU that recalls the saturated lacquer of Channapatna toys. Tops in natural wood and stone.

Talking about inspiring, we came away stunned by the debut launch of the capsule collection created by Magari in collaboration with Amaresh Anand Designs. The brilliant Amaresh brings to life crafted furniture pieces where each design visually tells a story and mindfully evokes nostalgia. This nine-piece capsule transforms Amaresh’s obsession with memory and scale into tactile designs and includes highlights like the Ibani-Kannada collection, Hampi Tables and the bold Big Red Sofa.

For almost two years, @anandamaresh and @magari.india have been working together, passing drawings, prototypes, and lunchtime field notes back and forth. The conversation now arrives in a nine-piece furniture capsule that tracks Amaresh's fascination with memory and proportion.
The capsule includes pieces such as the Ibani - Kannada collection, the Hampi Tables, and the Big Red sofa, each designed to evoke a sense of memory and proportion. Amaresh's inspiration comes from various sources, including Chinese shoes and Indian landscapes. The partnership with AAD aimed to create heritage furniture that moves forward without slipping into nostalgia, resulting in furniture that reads like a diary of experiences, waiting for new owners to add their own chapter.Crafted with rich materials like timber, glass, and fabric, each piece is a testament to the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and modern design.
