Found this cute coffee shop in Bow! It’s like the end of a church which is why it curves. #composer #LondonMusicalTheatre #londonvocalcoach

Wow! What a crazy and fun day/night seeing the first Opening Night ever of the “Greatest Showman” musical. Thanks to Jen Green (who did some music assistant work on the show) for inviting me and for driving all the way to Bristol and back! The Gala event after was impressive too.

LONDON MUSICAL THEATRE FRIENDS!!!
My name is Andrew Abrams and I’m an American Singing Teacher, Vocal Coach, Acting the Song coach, Musical Director, Composer—your one-stop-shop for all your coaching needs. I teach both in-person and online lessons and my private studio in London is now open. I’m a classically trained baritone and have spent over 25 years in NYC working in all of the above disciplines. I’ve coached everyone from beginners to Broadway performers and even Tony Award winners. I’m comfortable coaching classical repertoire (including diction coaching) and all musical theatre repertoire. I teach a healthy vocal technique grounded in low breath support and focused on freeing up tension, laryngeal freedom, placement, resonance, and a healthy belt. I also specialize in preparing secondary school students for Drama School auditions here in the UK. I’ve taught at: * New York University (NYU) * New York Film Academy * Mountview Academy (London) * Urdang Academy (London) * Hofstra University * AMDA I’ve also had shows I’ve written produced in London and am connected to the professional musical theatre world here. SPECIAL FIRST-TIME RATE AVAILABLE. Please visit my website (link in bio) for more info or email me at [email protected]. If you know singers, actors, or students who might benefit from this, I’d be really grateful if you shared this or tagged them in the comments. THANK YOU! #londonvocalcoach

Met my friend Nick Hutson today for lunch and he surprised me by taking me to Richmond, which was only two stops away. What a cute suburb and also where they filmed many scenes in Ted Lasso. Got a few snaps of the pub both in and out. (and a fabulous lunch with amazing food, including the shepherds pie pictured below)

Finally got a chance to visit Camden Market! It’s a lot to take in…I don’t think more food exists in one square mile anywhere else! It’s neat! Note to Wisconsin: maybe consider the cheese conveyer belt! Also, I had the Creme Egg gelato.
