I first hummed these melodies into my phone the day after stepping off the plane to America, now I get to hold this in my hands. Music is a beautiful thing and I am grateful.
Demo for a track called Wash. I have a two track reel to reel which I sometimes record ideas on. I did so with this song, sometimes recording guitar and sometimes synth. Later I played it through a different tape machine which could play both sides simultaneously, one forwards and one backwards. This is how it came out. Wash is now finished, along with 9 other songs to make an album. I hope to share it sometime this year, until then I’ll keep posting stuff like this.
Footage is of Henry and Spencer in Dartmoor from 2022, mixed with a trip Maz and me just took to the southwest United States.
