Aa Sudd shifts into a steppas mode for the new Orb Podcast, folding recent recordings into a mix shaped by rolling bassweight and his trademark rhythmic detail. It’s a different shade of his practice, but still marked by the hypnotic propulsion that defines his productions.
What emerges is a tight, physical mix rooted in bass culture while nudging outward into techno’s deeper corners. “I produced some hardware-only tracks inspired by bass and sound system music,” he notes. “The idea was to build around them in the techno realm.”

Glitch fragments, stretched recordings, and physical modeling collide in tracks that resist fixed form. Each piece is distinct, yet tied together by a single process: resampling, reshaping audio until it becomes something unrecognizable, alive.
