It is with great pleasure that we share that the 3D audio piece titled 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 created and composed during our two-week residency, bringing together five minds and ten hands, at the @dirtydealaudio Studio in Latvia last November has been selected for a multi-channel performance at the historic and prestigious International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) taking place this year in Hamburg 🔥🔥

ICMC is one of the leading international conferences for computer music, bringing together artists, researchers, and innovators from around the world for a full week of concerts, installations, and cutting-edge sound practices.

During the residency, our group crafted an immersive audio experience inside the Ambisonics dome, using sounds and soundscapes we captured around Laidi Palace. The piece blended on-site acoustic instruments with environmental and architectural textures.🏛️🔊
Over the weeks, we dived into spatial sound, gesture-based interaction, sound design techniques, and collective improvisation for immersive audio creation.
For the public presentation, we shared our final piece, followed by a collective improvisation inside the dome, exploring real-time processing, movement, gestures, and immersive sound diffusion. 🎧✨
It was an incredibly beautiful experience.

The work is composed of fragments from over 3,000 audiovisual pieces on the Shoah and contains no dialogue: Paolo Marzocchi’s music guides the audience, becoming the voice of the images.
