“res-in-prerequisite”
This work is an expression of the need of something that we are craving or something that had been lost.
This representation of “That Need” is expressed through tattoos and piercings on the body, which can be interpreted as “completing” one self, which is a type of physical and mental response.
The selection of the concept of body tattooing and piercing is from the fact that I am a tattoo artist, which inspires me to represent different perspectives of tattooing. This specific artwork is a piece that I created by tattooing on oxhide which is moulded into a shape of a human body, and that the tattooing process is done in the exact same way as it is done on human skin.
I do hope that this art piece could complete and fulfill my needs, and to whoever has a chance to see it some day. And finally, this art piece will be
