The Ishage Rock.
Standing upright around one of the steep edges of the Oke Ado mountains is the Ishage Rock boulder.
It is believed that the rock boulder is the bringer of rain for the Ado Awaiye people. Whenever there’s scarcity of rain, all that is needed to be done is the priest wearing a white clothing around the waist of the Ishage rock and it will rain for a few days. My tour guide also told me that whenever the white clothing is dirty, the Ishage rock takes it off unfailingly.
I walked very close to rock and had a feel of it. It has a very beautiful surface as clean as a polished glass!
