Designing and producing
@financialservicesprofessionals 10th-anniversary event felt like a full-circle moment. I remember the days after law school—returning to DC hungry to establish myself. Job searching wasn’t just about finding a position; it was about proving my worth.
I walked into the office of the founder of FSP and asked, “Is there anything I can help you with?” I was taught that asking what you can do for others is far more effective in creating a lasting impression. She then gave me the chance to help FSP become a registered organization—something I had never done before—and I was determined to rise to the challenge.
That opportunity not only allowed me to prove myself but also introduced me to a network that would later help me build my career as an attorney and a business owner. Fast forward to a year and a half ago, when I took another leap and launched A Good Design Co, and FSP once again trusted me to provide decor services for one of their events. They were one of my first clients and have become one of my most loyal.
Now, standing in a space we had the honor of designing for their milestone celebration, I’m reminded of how every opportunity, every relationship, and every moment of showing up with purpose has shaped this journey. What began as a personal mission to prove myself has evolved into a collaborative effort with a dedicated team committed to creating intentional, unforgettable experiences. This has been a path of growth, trust, and full-circle moments—and we’re just getting started.
