I’m gassed to share that my artwork titled: ‘Live Fast, Be Present’ has been selected as a winning piece for the i-D × Ray-Ban RED Global Art Competition. I’m super grateful to be recognised alongside such an inspiring community of creatives.
Art isn’t an easy path—there are constant barriers to entry & moments of doubt. But when you combine a strong voice with honest self-expression, the ceiling starts to disappear. The obstacles are real, but that’s when you have to put your blinkers on, lock in, & keep pushing forward. I’m just one of many trying to curate a life that aligns with my principles as well as my purpose.
i-D: “How would you describe your art?”
Me: “Painting is my way of communicating & connecting people from different walks of life. My work is abstract & raw—bold palettes, shifting forms, meets emotional depth. Ten people can look at the same piece & all ten can have different emotions evoked. It’s playful, but layered with meaning.”
