We restored this 1920s home with a focus on quiet minimalism + exacting craft. Every material and fixture was chosen for provenance and feel:
• Original 1930s Franta Any pendant over the living room fireplace
• Bauhaus pendants from Germany anchoring the kitchen
• Josef Hurka Functionalism pendant alongside contemporary pieces from Bocci, Soho Home & In Common With
• Handmade ceramic hearth from Nagoya, Japan, Venetian plaster walls, and Calacatta Crema Delicato marble island
• Bathrooms layered with Roman Clay, Italian terrazzo, Fez zellige & Japanese ceramic tile
The main house (3BD / 2.5BA) flows to Mediterranean-Inspired gardens with Olive Ateliers vessels, while the detached ADU (1BD / 1BA) is finished in Italian + Spanish marble with its own full kitchen.
A blend of history, global design finds, and modern living-crafted as one calm sequence.
