From the back line to the heart of the game. 💛⚽
From the first training sessions, I realised that he is an exceptionally intelligent player — the kind of footballer who sees the game before others do. I felt he needed to be positioned higher, where he could lead ball distribution and influence the game as a true playmaker.
One day, I organised a complex training game — combining possession play, defensive moments, quick transitions, and strategic decision-making after regaining the ball. Players could either keep possession or take the risk of finishing quickly to score. I didn’t explain all the rules upfront. This is part of the Principle of Propensity from Tactical Periodization: the environment itself teaches the players, without me giving direct commands. Later, through guided discovery, I talk with them and help them find solutions.
Before we even reached the first water break, @a.coeff was already organising the team, guiding others, and finding the most effective solutions — all without me having explained the “winning formula.” His intelligence accelerated the team’s learning before the collective discussion even began. In that moment, I knew: he couldn’t stay as a defender. He had to be involved higher up the pitch.
For the next match, against Odisha FC led by Sergio Lobera 🇪🇸, I placed him as a central midfielder with a box-to-box profile. I had doubts about his pressing after years away from that role, but he proved me wrong. He was outstanding — covering ground, making vertical runs, influencing play. We won 3–2, and Alexandre was one of the most important players on the pitch.
For me, this experience was a reminder that football intelligence 🧠 is as valuable as any technical skill. Sometimes, a change in position can unlock a player’s true potential.

It sometimes happens that even when you try to give your all to a project, you end up frustrated, misunderstood. The story could have been so beautiful.
Thanks again to the club, my teammates and the fans for the warm welcome, the adventure was short but intense, I will never forget it ... Now, i will follow the results like a fan, hoping that this club becomes big, it deserves so much better!
