When I was first chatting with @_yatte about collaborating on a track, which became our new release “This Holiday”, we were discussing a lot of Steely Dan tracks (e.g the incredible @chrispotterjazz solo on West of Hollywood) and so I asked him if we could make the chord changes for the sax solo at least a bit challenging 😆 And this was the result—it definitely took several attempts to get the harmonic flow into my brain and record a take I was happy with! 😎🎷
