@_woc_ joins URBAPHONIA 2026 as an eclectic and creative figure moving between visual art, image-making, creative direction, and DJing. Co-founder and creative director of Italia90, he develops a practice where image and sound remain deeply intertwined, with music playing an active role in his pictorial research.
A defining element of his approach is the exclusive use of CDs from the late 1990s and early 2000s — a rigorous choice that ties the DJ set to a physical, historical, and curatorial dimension of music. Within URBAPHONIA, this practice opens a point of contact between visual language, memory, and selection, bringing into the edition a form of research where sound is treated as both archive and living matter.

Tutti i proventi derivanti dalla vendita delle cartoline, al netto dei costi di spedizione, saranno devoluti ad @amnestyitalia in sostegno delle attività di ricerca e tutela dei diritti umani.
Le cartoline saranno affrancate e spedite da Torino (IT) tramite servizio postale ordinario, secondo le modalità proprie di una cartolina tradizionale.
Ogni acquisto consente la partecipazione all’estrazione finale: al termine della vendita, un numero d’ordine verrà selezionato casualmente e il relativo acquirente si aggiudicherà il dipinto originale.
L'estrazione, realizzata digitalmente, sarà resa pubblica online e il vincitore contattato privatamente.

Con “Postcard Lottery for Charity - Greetings from Gaza” @_woc_ trasforma una semplice cartolina in un grande atto di memoria: un’immagine di Gaza City, prima della sua quasi totale distruzione. Una denuncia silenziosa che viaggia di mano in mano ricordando ciò che non può essere normalizzato.
La cartolina potrà essere acquistata esclusivamente online e il ricavato sarà interamente devoluto ad Amnesty International Italia, a sostegno delle sue attività in difesa dei diritti umani. Ogni cartolina darà anche accesso a una lotteria con in palio l’opera originale.
