V roce 2023 začali jako duo (Sid Werner, Micha Hoppe) s LP „Little Faith“ (Boomslang Records), dále rozvíjeli svůj styl a přetvořili se v trio s vokalistkou a efektovou kouzelnicí Larou Alarcón. Skupina v aktuálním složení vydala na jaře 2025 LP „apparition what“ (subsidized time). Wirecutter is a three piece band based in Berlin made up of Lara, Micha and Sid who share their love for noise, doom and experimental electronica. Starting in 2023 as a duo (Sid Werner, Micha Hoppe) with the LP “Little Faith” (Boomslang Records) they further developed their style and re-formed as a trio with vocalist and fx whiz Lara Alarcón.
