Lots of fiber rolling into the shop these days including hand-dyed polwrath from the one and only Karida from @neighborhoodfiberco , hand-dyed Honeybun Batts and SUR braids from our dear friend @keirawxyz . We have a few more surprises on the way too. Keep an eye out for our workshop schedule (and some spinning classes!) in the next week or two.

Honeybun batts are restocked in our favorite colorways from @keriawxyz . These batts are hand-dyed then carded and put up in a pretty rolled batt. Honeybun is made from 70% BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) and 30% Mohair These cuties are oh-so-super-fluffy, soft, dreamy, and airy. Each batt is 50g and works beautifully for hand spinning yarn or adding fiber to your woven wall hangings. These batts are a dream to work with!

Brassard 8/2 100% Unmercerized Cotton is back-in-stock! Well known for being soft, absorbent, and having a matte finish, making it a favorite for weaving items like dishtowels, placemats, and baby blankets, among many other things! This lovely 8/2 cotton comes in oh-so-many colors of 1/2 lb. cones (1680 yards). 8/2 works well for warp or weft, and is an especially good weight weft yarn for tabby ground weave structures, including overshot.

NEW!! We have many new yarns and tools rolling into the shop these days, especially when it comes to weaving supplies. We just welcomed a beloved U.S. made woolen spun yarn to the shop from our friends at @harrisvilledesigns - Shetland. This yarn is so good!!
Lovely on floor, table, and tapestry looms as well as for knitting and crochet, Shetland is a 2ply Fingering weight (similar to an 8/4) heathered woolen spun yarn and one of Harrisville's most versatile, workhorse yarns. The fiber for Shetland is dyed and then blended and carded, creating well-designed colors that are then spun with special care at their water-powered woolen mill in the tiny town of Harrisville, NH, which I've had the absolute pleasure of visiting a few times. Spun more tightly on the spinning frames (higher turns per inch), Shetland is highly durable and will wear better and better every year.
