The Arbutus Folk School - Wheel Throwing Room Mural (fall 2024)
I moved into a small art studio at Arbutus about a year ago. I was looking for a space that could not only nurture my creative aspirations but provide a well of like minded individuals, connection, and bridge the gap between different disciplines.
Between the staff, instructors, artists, and craftsmen, they provided the perfect substrate to help me find my voice and organically grow it into a body of work.
I am truly honored to adorn this space and I hope all who walk through these doors catch the same sparks of inspiration that I have.
This piece represents the flow state one reaches and engages with while enthralled in their craft.
Thank you Arbutus! Many more to come
Backyard Passion Project - The Light Keeper (winter 2024)
4 panel sequence series started and finished during a western Washington winter. Wouldn’t recommend - fully worth it.

The Historic 222 Market. (Late fall 2023)
This job broke me.
It drove the nail named, “you’re not cut out to be a sign painter” right into my coffin. It was a cluster fuck of bad decisions. I bit off more than I could chew and confused ambition with my ego. I agreed to an unrealistic deadline at the wrong time of year for our climate and that caused a lot of things that should have gone right to go wrong.
I spent many nights here, sometimes until 4am trying to avoid the inevitable rain that came the next day. Those days were cold and wet. I can’t stress how fucked up it is painting in cold, not yet freezing, wet temperatures. I would get done with an entire section just to look back and see that the paint I just applied was dripping off the wall.
I learned a lot on this one. What not to do and what I could’ve done differently. And most importantly, just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
What I once took pride in with sign painting, I began resenting. I desperately wanted more out of my art but didn’t know if I still had it in me.
Nonetheless, this time was invaluable and I am grateful to have taken it on. To this day, the work I did on the 222 market stands, even if the business names I painted have gone.
Guerrilla DJ x Paint Sesh pt. III
Much like the seasons, we too feel the ebb & flow of inevitable change pulling our feet to unknown territory. Although THE WALL will always be a place we come back to, it is time we find a new canvas.
That’s where you come in. As long as we have power to plug our equipment to and a wall ready to be painted we’re there ready to rock.
Please submit all potential sites to my messages. We are considering anywhere and everywhere.
Include photos (if available), location pin, power available, and of course, the surface to be painted.
Thanks for keeping public art PUBLIC, pop ups possible, dancing in the street🙏🏽🖤
