Please follow my new project Ben Monday ⬇️ read below @djbenmonday _____________ I have something to tell you, an update of sorts after my dearest hobby stalled me over Covid. This has been tough to write. Mental health has been a struggle for me - the perfectionist in me has taken over, and I became ill, and struggled with addiction. My friends and family saw me through the toughest of times. The moment came after my Plein D’Amour release. I wanted to follow up and release on labels close to my heart, sonically and within identity of White Leaf, however, my music hasn’t quite hit the mark. English, being my second language, has been a barrier for me in the past. I have been through extensive therapy to get to where I am. It’s important to talk about #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters This is a sort of a goodbye for now to the White Leaf brand as I grow Ben Monday - a brand new melodic organic sound. I’d like to extend my apology to my fans, my family, my friends, people I knew and loved in the past and my record label @_sagtre which I neglected during my period of silence. I realized it’s more about the journey, not the destination. May everything work out during this second chance ☺️ As is the case with me, I’ll leave you with some self written quote/poetry. Moments we adore, quickly dissipate, in the moment, emotions are forgotten. We can write letters, apologizing, but we must reflect on them in the present, and forgive ourselves for making mistakes with the tools we we’re given.
