Picked up some nice ambience today of obnoxious football horns, arguments, sirens and Welsh Walla off my fiancés IPhone … the playback was interesting and plonking this into the Cardiff ambience will be worth it. Opportunist work on a busy Saturday- Stay classy Cardiff haha
Ok, so a bit late but this year’s Global Game Jam 2026 was a blast! | Game jams are when developers get together and make a game from a given prompt, and a given amount of time to make a game.
This was my 16th jam as an audio specialist, creating the music and sound effects for the project. This years GGJ prompt was “Mask” and we had 48Hrs to make this functional -
I join game jams when I can as you never know what prompt or theme you’ll be given, and the practice of adaptability as a composer, and meeting other developers is why I do it. So here’s to future game jams and hopefully I’ll get round to showing more behind the scenes of other games I’ve worked on!
