I don’t do this type of thing often, but this year has been a big one for me. I set a resolution for myself this year, and that was to get out of my own way. I just wanted to give myself a shot at truly doing what I want to do.
Looking back, I can’t believe I get to do this at all. Helping old friends, making new ones, and being a part of a wonderful community that this city loves to love back.
I was invited to be a part of the @theuglyartco collective.
I was the featured artist for the V&E Artwalk.
I was invited to participate in Hot Off the Wall and have my work hang in the Dixon - where I was then asked to lead a workshop.
I was the featured artist for the Etowah Collective dinner.
All of this while running VL Print and continuing to get to teach at the University of Memphis.
I am happy. I am grateful. And I am very much looking forward to next year.
If you made it to the last slide, you see that I am already locked into 2026, and I get to present my work to you all in my first ever solo show on Feb. 28 (2 months from today).
Thank you everyone who has been a part of getting me here. Nothing is ever achieved alone.

I have been having fun in the studio these days. Trying to find new ways to play with line and composition. But I am just trying to make. Some pictures at the end to show the difficulties of working larger in a small space. Though it’s my small space and I love it.
I have a fun one on the press today. Printing these for @hmiles_smith and the @memphismillionairesclub
Tons of fun happening this weekend, and I am definitely looking forward to it.
