The piece is entitled “Where Are We Going?” and I feel it is appropriately named since I wasn’t really sure where I was going or where the piece was headed when I wrote it!

Jazz Studies students Rachel Ambaye ’27 MM, Josh Gagnon ’26 DM, Kazuki Tsubakida ’26, Oscar Peterson ’27 MM, and Victor Giraldez ’27 traveled with Department Chair Ken Schaphorst to Panama for the 23rd Panama Jazz Festival—teaching master classes and performing across the city.
