It’s been a while and we’re feeling nostalgic, so we wanted to share a recap of our last events. We sadly won’t be returning to Bloemenhof/Jardin aux Fleurs with Nomadic this year (yes we know you are sad too). But no worries, the Veduta team has been busy behind the scenes, working on something truly special <3
Exciting projects are on the way. We cannot wait to share them with you, stay tuned!

Some pictures to reflect on a great night of punk, protest and head bobbing to the electrifying concerts of Piss Rules and @kotskatkotst in Leuven at the end of November ⚡️
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, bounced around the room and supported the fundraiser of @kul4palestine
Thank you to @fringe_festival_leuven for inviting us into their program

For the second year, Veduta invited Club Dérive to activate the square that connects the Anneessensstraat and T’Kintstraat. During these two weeks, the blocks were painted, activated, stacked and distributed. In collaboration with Patterns of Palestine the blocks were collectively painted, giving it a new visual identity and political voice. During the building day the possibilities of configurations were explored and documented with 3D scans. In this way the public was invited to further claim the space, rearrange the blocks, and gather collectively.

Small rewind to 1 week ago, when we took over the rooftop of @beursschouwburg as part of their Out Loud summer program! A packed terrace, high temperature levels outside and inside but mostly gratitude towards all of you for coming to festively close off our Nomadic at Jardin aux Fleurs ❤️🔥☀️
Extra big shout out to all of the artists that performed

Join us this Thursday for an evening under the stars at Beursschouwburg. We celebrate the end of a successful Nomadic 2025 edition — and also bid farewell to founders Alexander & Hassel. They're passing the torch, but not before treating us to one last line-up full of fresh surprises.
TIMETABLE:
✧ 17:00 (doors & drinks)
✧ 18:00 𝗗𝗝 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻
This talented front-row dancer also has not-so-secret DJ skills and a killer selection of hyperpop, baile funk, jersey club, and other techno-flavoured bangerrrrs up their sleeve.
✧ 20:30 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘀
Gavin Vanaelst, a young father, and Jente Waerzeggers, recently heartbroken, started sending each other bits of guitar and vocals via wetransfer. The result of this three-year process is a self-titled debut album of only 20 minutes and a live performance with some cutesie surprises for teenagers of all ages.
✧ 21:20 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝘇𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗺-𝗟𝗶𝗲
Improv, emotion and activism based on the voice, in a live performance throughout the stairwell of the beursschouwburg.
✧ 22:00 𝗟𝗼𝘂 𝗞
A warm wave of rock-in-French between nightmares and poetry, a feminist wave of rebellion and burn marks, flirting with softness.
✧ 23:00 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝟮𝗯 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲
Alexander Cornelis is a DJ and producer with an ear tuned to depth rather than trends, as long as
it carries soul, grit, or an honest story. Hassel Headspace is a true digger who, alongside his YouTube channel packed with rare musical gems, knows exactly how to get a party going. Together they founded Veduta, and tonight they’re passing the torch – but not before a tasty b2b set!

Before we say goodbye to Nomadic, we have one last weekend planned for you. From today until Sunday, an exhibition by @palettesofpalestine will be held in the ZSenne art lab.
In August 2023, a group of children in Khan Yunis, Gaza, created artworks for an exhibition in Brussels. Through their drawings and texts, they shared their dreams and the things that brought them joy. One year later, in August 2024, some of these children continued to take part in art activities despite the genocide. They sent us new artworks— along with heartfelt messages to the world. This exhibition brings together their creations from before and after October 2023, as well as new pieces made by children who joined the project in 2024. It offers a glimpse into the experience of Gaza’s youth. The project is a collaboration between Palettes of Palestine and the HOPE Foundation, which has supported children in Gaza for over 30 years, through arts.
Opening hours for the exhibition are:
Friday (30/05): 18h-22h
Saturday (31/05): 14h-18h
Sunday (01/06) 12h-18h
We also have our finissage on Sunday alongside Palettes of Palestine. This will be an afternoon filled with workshops to make friendship bracelets, write love letters, an activation of the work of @ambermeulenijzer , view the ongoing expo of Palettes of Palestine, say goodbye to Nomadic, and enjoy a potluck lunch.
More on this through the link in our bio or our previous post.

OUT LOUD x Veduta
TH 12.06 17:00 FREE ROOFTOP
Flemish-Brussels collective Veduta brings music and art into public space through their neighbourhood festival Nomadic. Tonight, we celebrate a successful 2025 edition — and also bid farewell to founders Alexander & Hassel. They’re passing the torch, but not before treating us to one last line-up full of fresh surprises.
This Wednesday, 21/05, we’re taking over a public square in Brussels with Patterns of Palestine.
As the news grows more horrific by the day, let’s gather and create with our hands. All emotions are welcome—we’ll channel them into @club.derive ’s wooden canvases, carrying our painted drawings, messages and maybe one day we’ll use them as memorable tables or benches.
Paint, brushes, stencils, inspiration, and community—it’ll all be there. You just show up. Tomorrow 17h - 21h at Z’senne art lab <3
Brought to you @by_veduta as part of Nomadic Festival. Club Dérive & Palettes of Palestine are teaming up to give the cubes you might have seen last edition, a bold new visual identity.
And on Sunday the 25th, Club Derivé invites everyone to play around with the cubes and create an installation of the transformed blocks on this building day.
Veduta invited Club Dérive to activate the square that connects the Anneessensstraat and T’Kintstraat. During the two weeks, blocks & shapes take place on the square to use, slide and puzzle. Organised activities bring the neighborhood together and creatively questions what is being listened to, eaten and watched. Everybody is invited to take place in the shadows to share and exchange.

BUILDING DAY
Sunday 25/05 - 14:00-18:00
Everyone is invited to participate and play with the cubes, exploring the possibilities of the system and testing its limits. Follow your intuitions and build together, break down and build up again, flip it or stack it, arrange or make a mess.. Think of interventions like: a wall, a
platform, a bench, a bridge, a pit, a … Let’s gather and BUILD!!!
Thanks for stopping by last Friday. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the next two weeks 🌻
We’ll be back next Wednesday with two (!) amazing initiatives:
Minimarket x Broodnodig (12h-17h): On this day @demarkten combines their weekly Minimarket - with free coffee, tea and chats - with an extra edition of Broodnodig: baking bread with the neighborhood. They'll be on the square all afternoon so be sure to stop by!
Palettes of Palestine (17h-21h): It’s time for a new visual identity of the cubes, everyone is welcome to be part of this, paint with your creativity and your voice. A set of patterns and colors will be provided to be arranged, adapted, reversed by you, make it yours!
